Sometimes she feels like a bridge spread across a hollow emptiness

A gateway that has been uniquely constructed to be travelled upon

Countless tires and footprints trails her sturdy road

Yet she fails to be eroded by emerging potholes

For her foundation was reinforced with the steel of love.

A bridge she made herself to become

Sweeping away the fear of travelers as they ponder

On the obstacle of what lies on the other side of the road

With her magnificent image

She transforms fear into faith as she gladly welcomes travelers

Protects them by her towering yet cradling strings.

It seems the movement above her outstretched back pleases travelers

And the joy she feels for her travelers’ pleasure is a soothing massage for her endless painstaking provisions

Seconds…minutes…hours

Travelers are at the end of the bridge

One last screeching sound made to announce their exit

Their fear spells have been broken on this wonderful gateway

Her tears form a mirage that quickly disappears as tires zoom pass her back

Leading her travelers to the road of uncertainty.
