The smallest creature I’ve seen;
Small tiny with six legs;
It walks and moves majestically;
Proud of its marvelous structure;
Oh! That animal with six legs.
The ant, walking all day striving for a grain;
With its tiny body it bites and steals;
And still goes unpunished;
Saves at all times for the rainy day;
Oh! What a sensible ant it may;
Deep down in its hole;
It’s very barn where grains are stored;
Goes in its queue like marching soldiers;
Oh! No wonder the name ‘Soldier ant’;
Although the very wicked bite;
I still love the ant.
