“Arrrrrgghh!!!” She screamed as she hurriedly sprung up from the mattress. She quaked intensely. Lost in bewilderment, sweat seeped through every single pore. It was another terrifying episode of her nightmare series. This had ensued for weeks. She had grown weary. All she could do after each episode was get her knees to the ground and pray. Owing to condition, Sophia became pious to the core.

 

Innumerable appointments with so-called pastors and clergymen had come and gone. Such “prayer meetings” came to a grand halt after an ugly sexual harassment from a shameless “Prophet.” She strongly believed she could also reach that same deity through personal prayers. I settled for Lana Del Rey inspired blue-jeans-white-shirt costume, I sure did not want to over dress; I wasn’t a star in the movie, there was no need to whip out a three piece…An optical illusion made me believe the premiere would start at 2pm and I arrived SPAR (Filmhouse Cinema Old GRA Port Harcourt) at 1:40 (I’m quite the early bird)…I obtained my ticket from Miss Nkoli Os’kar (the one who scripted the movie and who invited me). She made me see clearly:
