“Arrrrrgghh!!!” She screamed as she hurriedly sprung up from the mattress. She quaked intensely. Lost in bewilderment, sweat seeped through every single pore. It was another terrifying episode of her nightmare series. This had ensued for weeks. She had grown weary. All she could do after each episode was get her knees to the ground and pray. Owing to condition, Sophia became pious to the core.

 

Innumerable appointments with so-called pastors and clergymen had come and gone. Such “prayer meetings” came to a grand halt after an ugly sexual harassment from a shameless “Prophet.” She strongly believed she could also reach that same deity through personal prayers.
